About Jen Street, Web Designer & Graphic Artist

I am a Production Designer for Triad Digital Media, an online media agency located in Tampa, Florida. You know how they say that some jobs don't feel as though they're jobs? Well, my job is like that: it isn't work—it's a passion.

While most of my professional experience has been in web and print, I hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Design Graphics, with a Concentration in Visualization (Animation) and a Minor in Art. I possess knowledge of many different software packages and I consider myself a traditional artist (I love working in different types of traditional media).

At the end of the day, it comes down to the fact that I love design. It's a passion, it's an art and it's simply what I do.

You could have asked me several years ago if I ever thought I would have seen myself working as a web designer and I would have assuredly told you "NO!" Sometimes life has a way of playing cruel jokes on a person. Fortunately, a series of "unfortunate" events took place that forced me into this field. Today, design for the web is my favorite form of creative outlet. I love the constantly-changing technology and fast-paced environment that this field provides.

I began my love for art through various forms of traditional media and decided to pursue graphic design and animation. This led to several positions in graphic design for various companies. Eventually I took up freelancing on the side.

While I do not do a lot of print and traditional design anymore, I still consider these outlets my first loves of design.
